I’m a UX Designer at Best Buy specializing in Accessibility and Inclusive Design based in Seattle, WA. I keep the focus on the user and provide equal access to everyone.  (A human right!)  In my over sixteen years involved with the disability community and as a person with a disability myself, I've acquired the skills and understanding to design user-friendly experiences that can change lives.  I'm also proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Lighthouse for the Blind.

I earned my Masters of Science in UX Design from Kent State University, and I have a Bachelors of Arts in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego.  Prior to UX, I spent ten years as a professional sign language interpreter for the d/Deaf/DeafBlind communities.

When not at work, I love cooking, kayaking, fashion, spending time with my husband, son and dog and am obsessed with dachshunds!

Let's talk accessibility!
